Unfortunately, thanks to large groups making reservations and not showing up, A Cup of Tea has become more strict with large groups and now requires a signed contract and a deposit.

Those of you that went last year know that they were quite generous to us, splitting the checks and providing nearly everyone with their own teapot. The person I spoke with told me that they have become more strict with their policies of 1-2 teapots at most as well as putting a 2 hour time limit. Also, with large groups, they require a set meal, but because of the various budgets of everyone, I asked to go ala carte and was told that I need a definite headcount and what you plan on ordering.

I didn't get feedback from everybody regarding their availability, so based on what I received, I have tentatively picked out Sunday, the 24th. The day is open so we can choose a 1:00 PM seating or a 3:30 PM seating. I lean toward the latter since we tend to mingle and may go over the 2 hour limit. I think the 2 hour limit is so if they have customers come in, they don't have to turn them away because a large group is still hanging around.
